About the Artist

Bob was born in Port Clinton, Ohio and he and his wife Martha are both life long

area residents.  His interests in the arts have been both Visual and Performing.

At present he is an active member of the Port Clinton Artists' Club, the Greater Port Clinton Area Arts Council, the Tiffin Art

Guild and The Vermilion Art Guild.  He began painting about 15 years ago

and studied with private instructor Robert Warren of Canal Winchester, Ohio and

more recently with international instructor Gary Jenkins who is best known for his Floral and Still life paintings.

Being creative has always been a part of his life. Bob says that " painting a picture

is like writing a song because it takes you to a special place and can stir your emotions."

Light, Shadow, Value and Focal Point are all important to him in his art work.
